Red was a popular color but black seemed to be the color of choice at the Critics Choice Awards on Friday.Kristen Bell went for a little black v-neck dress from Prada.
Anna Kendrick, fresh from the AFI luncheon the same day, decided on something more glam for this occassion, wearing a black, floor-sweeping Elie Saab gown. 
Shia LaBeouf's gal pal Carey Mulligan, who was up for the Best Actress award, wore a bold golden necklace with her Marni gown and clutch. 
Abbie Cornish went for a simple sheath from the Elie Saab Spring 2010 collection, plus equally simple clutch bag and Bally heels. 
The lovely Claire Danes wore a sheer shouldered J. Mendel dress, as she took to the stage to present an award with Zachary Quinto.
