Award Winning Citrus Looks

Some of the main award winners seemed to have something in common this Emmy Awards, something bright.

Winner of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries, Julianne Moore wore a Dior Haute Couture wide skirt gown.

Another Best Actress, Claire Danes, said she picked her Lanvin creation as it needed no alteration to fit her blossoming baby bump.

Barbra Bui heels and gold Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed her look.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Julie Bowen also went strapless in a citrus-y Monique Lhuillier gown with Jimmy Choo heels and Bochic jewelry.

Claire Danes in White J. Mendel

Eschewing the dark shades that were the theme of the night, Claire Danes went for the complete opposite end of the spectrum in a white plunge-front dress from J. Mendel.

With her hair in an up-do, Claire accessorized with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels, and Christian Louboutin shoes; and added a touch of colour with her turquoise clutch bag.

Her other accessory, hubby Hugh Dancy, was in all Prada.

Diane Kruger was in it too at the Versace show and the Chanel show, donning a black-and-white boucle two-piece from Chanel's 2012 collection.

Claire Danes in Donna Karan

Claire Danes went all Betty Draper for the 2012 AFI Awards, although we're not quite sure how that deep v-neck line would have went down in Betty's day.

Claire wore the full-skirted Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2012 collection frock with co-ordinating blue belt, pointed pumps, and Pomellato earrings.

2010 Met Styles - More Color Trends

More of the color themes from the Metropolitan's Costume Institute Gala Benefit for American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity held on May 3 in New York City.

Pink - a little similar to the neutral trend, and yeah it does have a few of the dresses from the neutral feature but they fit with pink too as the shades ranged from palest blush to barbie pink and berry.

Kate Hudson's Stella McCartney dress was embellished with lots of sparkle and co-ordinated perfectly with her Casadei platform pumps.

Alessandra Ambrosio in her Versace (again). The shimmery gown was paired with sparkling Lorraine Schwartz earrings and cuff.

Jessica Alba was extremely elegant in her dusky rose shaded satin dress from designer Sophie Theallet.

January Jones in her bold pink and black Yves Saint Laurent dress matched with long black gloves and classic pumps.

Rachel Weisz in her strapless bright pink dress. And Naomi Watts in her regal looking Stella McCartney bow-shouldered gown, which was matched with metallic gold clutch and Christian Louboutin heels.

Shades of blue began with Doutzen Kroes' Zac Posen gown.

Coco Rocha could have fitted into a few color spectrums with her watercolor gown, also from Zac Posen.

Christina Hendricks made the most of her assetts in a v-neck dress from L'Wren Scott complete with huge floral detail on the shoulder.

Amber Valetta was all elegance in her Roland Mouret dress and diamonds. Emmy Rossum opted for a cobalt shade. Blake Lively also went blue in her ruffled Marchesa mini dress.

And Mariska Hargitay and Sienna Miller were at the darker end of the scale with their petrol and navy blue dresses.

Jennifer Lopez was a sparkling diva in her Zuhair Murad silver gown.

Marion Cotillard was covered in sprakles all over wearing an Haute Couture Christian Dior creation.

Maggie Grace was elegant in strapless grey. Fellow TV star, Kristen Bell also opted for strapless grey with her Diane von Furstenberg design.

Nicole Richie was in Marc Jacobs sequins.

And Claire Danes opted for a dark grey metallic dress, custom-made by Burberry.

Star Styles at the Chopard Gala

A whole host of glam stars were out in New York on April 29 for the Chopard's 150 Years of Excellence Gala.

Kate Hudson wore Lanvin, opting for a blue-grey shaded dress from the Pre-Fall 2010 collection and some dove grey platform pumps from Casadei.

Gwyneth Paltrow was out for another event and wore a dress so risque she had to wear another full length nude gown undeneath it.
The lace Antonio Berardi design was so sheer on the runway it left little to the imagination.

Christina Ricci brought a real touch of color in her bright green James Galanos dress.

And Claire Danes was lovely in her champagne shaded dress, which, like Kate's, was from the Lanvin Spring 2010 collection.

Emmy, Jessica and Claire at the 2010 Museum Dance

Emmy Rossum at the 2010 AMNH Museum Dance held at the American Museum of Natural History on April 15.

Emmy wore a sparkle topped dress from the Luca Luca Fall 2010 collection.

For a similar, and affordable, look like Emmy's try pairing the grey chiffon $24.99 Arden B skirt with a black top and some simple black peep-toes.

Model Jessica White was stunning in a grey strapless gown - it looks very similar in style to Zoe Saldana's Givenchy Oscars gown but I'm not sure on the designer.

And Claire Danes wore the same pink Zac Posen for Target gown that she wore to the collection's party the same night.
