SJP's Costume Gala Outfit Info
Fashion's big night of the year, so of course Sarah Jessica Parker was going to be in attendance, and she didn't let her style fans down!
SJP opted for a daring Philip Treacy headpiece along with a Giles Deacon gown and plaid Christian Louboutin boots.
SJP said of the mohawk-style Philip Treacy headwear: “He’s been working on it for the past few weeks, and I feel incredibly fortunate that it’s in my custody and care.”
The Christian Louboutin boots were specially made for SJ, she said, "We asked Mr. Louboutin to make these boots, just as a nod to the plaid, the flannel that we think of when we think about that particular period.”
Completing the look were Fred Leighton jewels plus a few vintage pieces of her own.

Star Gowns at the 2012 New York City Ballet Event
New York stars pulled out some extravagent gowns for the 2012 New York City Ballet Gala on September 20.
No prizes for guessing who designed Sarah Jessica Parker's etheral gown.
SJP arrived with Valentino and matched the floral print from his design house with a flower in her updo.
She added Fred Leighton jewels and pretty bow-topped Christian Louboutins to complete the look.
Olivia Palermo looked chic as always, arriving with beau Johannes Huebl (who you can just see disappearing in the background), and looking oh-so-elegant in her black and cream Christian Dior gown.
She matched it with co-ordinating Diane Von Furstenburg heels, plus a quirky touch with her feathery purple bag.
Anne Hathway swept in, in a autumnal brown gown which was also a Valentino creation.
Karolina Kurkova could be looking forward to the new season of Once Upon a Time maybe, in a red caped Valentino Couture gown that was a seemed a Little Red Riding Hood inspired.
