Penelope Cruz's 2012 Oscar Night Armani

Penelope Cruz went old-Hollywood with her waved up-do, and off-the-shoulder Armani gown at this year's Academy Awards.

She completed the look with a perfectly co-ordinated clutch, and over 300 carats of Chopard jewelry.

Penelope Cruz's Blue Jumpsuit Look

Sporting a look similar to her Cannes one, Penelope Cruz was again in navy as she went out in Madrid for the Pirates of the Caribbean photocall. 

Her chic jumpsuit was by Hakaan, and teamed with barely seen Salvatore Ferragamo heels, and silver hoops from Chopard.

Penelope Cruz - Cannes & Marchesa

After the photocall, Penelope Cruz switched to a lighter shade of blue as she came out for the Cannes premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

It was a Marchesa gown at the American premiere and Marchesa again here as she wore a design from the Fall 2011 collection. 

She teamed it with Chopard jewels, barely seen Jimmy Choo heels, and a beaded clutch from Swarovski.

A gorgeous look from Penelope Cruz here as she attended the Cannes photocall for Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides.

Pene wore a navy blue dress from Stella McCartney's Fall 2011 collection along with well-matched Casadei heels.

Penelope Cruz in Lacy Givenchy

Penélope Cruz was out for the London premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides on May 12, and looked marvelous in her white lace and zippered Givenchy gown.

You couild easily think this dress was a high fashion take on Kate Middleton's wedding dress but it actually comes from the Fall 2010 Couture collection so was around sometime before Kate's creation.

Penelope completed the bridal-with-a-bit-of-edge look with some white satin heels, even more be-fitting a wedding.

Other stars were a little more low-key for the Disneyland event, but Penelope Cruz was in all-out glam for the Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides premiere. 

She donned a black lace and feathers gown from Marchesa off-set with sparkling Chopard jewels.

Penelope Cruz's Star-Worthy Look

Penelope Cruz got honored with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 1 (not exactly the date when you'd want to receive that sort of thing).

After just giving birth to her son back in January, Penelope looked great in a purple-and-black print dress from L'Wren Scott.

She paired the dress with some black Christian Louboutin peep-toes for an elegant finish.

Penelope Cruz's Fiery L'Wren Scott Oscars Dress

Out supporting her Best Actor nominated husband Javier Barden, Penelope Cruz looked stunning at last night's Oscars - just weeks after giving birth to her first child.

At last year's ceremony she wore a red Donna Karan design and stuck with a similar color here in her curve-flaunting L'Wren Scott dress which was covered with red flame-like sequins.  

With such a dress, Pene kept the accessories low-key: Jimmy Choo heels and some complimentary Chopard jewels.

Demi Moore in Atelier Versace at the Oscars

Demi Moore at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held on March 7 at LA's Kodak Theatre.

Demi's Atelier Versace dress looked like an imitation of Penelope Cruz's Oscar gown from a few years back - which was also Versace - having a similar bodice but with ruffles rather than feathers.



Some elegant earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels and a Ferragamo clutch completed Demi's look.

Penelope Cruz in Red Karan at the Oscars

Penelope Cruz at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles on March 7.

Last year's Best Supporting Actress was up for the same award again but lost out to Mo'Nique.

Pene was stunning none-the-less and gorgeously glam as ever in a deep red strapless gown from Donna Karan.

Her jewelry was from Chopard.

Marion and Penelope Premiere Nine in Paris

I thought that the premiere events for Nine were all over but obviously not as Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard and director Rob Marshall were all out at the French premiere, held in Paris on February 18.

Penelope went for a dusty rose colored L'Wren Scott gown and metallic Casadei heels, and Marion stuck with Dior, wearing a lace overlay dress and ankle strapped heels from the designer.

Star Styles at the Calvin Klein LA Arts Event

Star Style info from the Calvin Klein Collection & Los Angeles Nomadic Division 1st Annual Celebration For L.A. Arts Monthly and Art Los Angeles Contemporary, held in LA on January 28.Abbie Cornish, who arrived with boyfriend Ryan Phillippe, was looking fresh and pretty in a crisp white dress from the Calvin Klein Spring 2010 collection, which she paired with simple black pumps and a metallic box clutch.

Ali Larter was gorgeous in a grey Calvin Klein Spring 2010 jacket and dress combo, plus a suede bag and the very popular Burberry booties (also seen on Gwyneth Paltrow and Amber Rose).

Also in grey, but looking rather bland in comparision to Ali, Penelope Cruz, who wore a dress from Klein's Fall 2009 collection.

And one of the only stars not to don a CK design was Nicky Hilton, who instead wore a Rodarte for Target collection leopard print dress with YSL pumps and an Hermes clutch bag.

Nicky's dress is available at Target, costing $44.99.

Stars of Nine at the 2010 SAG Awards

The female leads of Nine on stage to present at the 2010 SAG Awards, where they were up for the Oustanding Cast Award.

First Nicole Kidman, she skipped the red carpet which is such a shame as this is a really fresh look for her.

Back with red hair this is like Nicole in the '90s, and she really stood out from her co-stars in her shimmering gold Oscar de la Renta gown, which she wore with Fred Leighton jewels.

Marion Cotillard didn't go for a gown but looked fabulous in a beaded and feathered Elie Saab dress, super high Saab heels and a Judith Leiber clutch.

Penelope Cruz kept it simple in black, and looked quite boring in comparison to her co-stars, wearing a beaded L'Wren Scott dress with a Chopard bracelet, basic black clutch and Casadei heels.
Kate Hudson was stunning from the front and back in her white Emilio Pucci gown; the gown had its own sparkling silver accent but that didn't stop Kate adding even more bling, with over $1.75 million worth of Cartier jewelry.

Penelope, keeping her glam curls protected from the rain, was up for her role in Nine, and like her movie charachter went all sultry, opting for a black lacy 2005 collection Armani Privé black lace gown, paired with Chopard diamonds.

Marion, Penelope and Sophia Promote Nine in Rome

While most of the world first saw Nine premiere in December, a few of the stars were just in Rome to promote the movie there.

Attending the photocall a few days ago, Marion Cotillard kept it rather prim and proper in a white v-neck dress (most likely Dior) and simple black pumps.

Penelope Cruz wore a sheer, lace and tassel bottomed dress from Dolce & Gabbana.

And Sophia Loren was timelessly elegant in a black suit and t-bar heels.


Later for the premiere, while Pene glammed up in gold Armani, Marion was drab in a long black gown from French designer Vionet.

And Sophia went all out in a black gown with sparkling criss-cross straps and yellow feathers to add some coverage.
