Gisele Bundchen wears a lilac shade version on the cover of October's Harper's Bazaar, and Paula Patton wore it well at the MTV VMA's.
The MTV Video Music Awards took place last night, and there were two main themes in the outfit department - metallic and black. While the metallic dress colors ranged from platinum to gold, one thing was for sure - no matter what your outfit color, silver shoes were in.Beyonce made like a modern day goddess in a golden Grecian inspired gown by Reem Acra.Jennifer Garner wore a white dress by Alice Temperly, with silver embelishments and bead working. Plus some well suited silver peep-toes, and jewels by Cartier.Ashanti wore a silver, showgirl style dress, with some matching jewel detailed shoes.Melanie Brown went for a pale platinum shade dress by Herve Leger and carried a dazzling clutch.Paris Hilton donned a golden leopard skin number by Dolce & Gabbana, which she wore with funked up hair, silver heels and a number of sparkling jewels.Another star, Eve, also went for metallic, wearing a golden dress by Elie Saab.
We're more used to seeing how in tight fitting dresses but Kim Kardashian knows it's more sensible to travel in comfort. The heiress and buddy of Paris Hilton made her way through the airport, in a bright pink Juicy Couture tracksuit. And although she was minus a lot of her usual make-up, she obviously couldn't bear to fly without her mascara and eye shadow done, as she headed out to Las Vegas.
Gisele Bundchen wore it first on the catwalk and now Michelle Yeoh has worn it on the red carpet at the 64th Venice Film Festival. The Dolce and Gabbana dress was paired with some matching metal look pumps for it's debut on the catwalk, while Michelle went for a similar style, but a plain black shade instead. The dress however doesn't seem to have quite the same impact on the carpet as it did on the runway.
ETA - Natasha Poly has also recently been spotted in the D&G dress, for an editorial in Russian Vogue magazine. She wears the dress to great effect, but it's not exactly a look you could wear in real life.
