Not So "Punk" Pale Costume Gala Gowns

It's not exactly a rule that white and punk don't mix, but these looks really did not fit with the "punk" theme of the Costume Institute Gala.
Heidi Klum defo looked pretty but defo not punk in her strapless Marchesa gown and Harry Winston jewels combo.

The only thing punk about Katie Holmes' Calvin Klein look was the hairdo, that and maybe the tattered-effect hem of the white halter gown, which was otherwise heavenly.

Emmy Rossum too, was more angelic than punk, in an ethereal pale Donna Karan Atelier gown featuring silver sparkles.
